DESCRIPTION
Spend your morning sipping local kopi while watching the fog lift off the canopy, relax in full of peace of nature. As the sun sets, fire up the grill for a sunset BBQ session, listening to the symphony of cicadas echoing from the depths of the forest. It is the kind of place that reminds you how much you crave a slower pace of life, just a short drive from the city grind.
GOOD TO KNOW
BYO (Bring Your Own) concept: charcoal or wood for burning on the outdoor fires, torches, food, insect repellant, pillows - whatever you need to be comfortable. Shower is cold water only. Water is from river and/or rainwater. Guests are recommended to bring water for drinking, brushing teeth. The treehouse is on a working farm. There are 3 friendly farm dogs doing their job there. They will be curious to know you, however, they are not allowed on the treehouse or deck.

I had a great stay at Plateau Farm. The location is pretty strategic, just a short drive from KL and another quick stretch after entering Janda Baik. It’s tucked towards the end of the area and slightly uphill, but that worked in our favour. Despite the crazy heat, the treehouse was well shaded and constantly cooled by a lovely breeze. We barely felt the heat from the ground below and this was honestly one of my favourite parts of the trip. The treehouse itself has all the basic necessities, i can actually pretty much come with minimal gear and still be comfortable. The resident dogs are adorable and kept us company during a short walk around the area. They were so sweet and playful, am already missing them. The place offers top-notch privacy, just us + nature, which makes the whole experience feel calm and secluded in the best way.
