The HIJAU Camp & Cabin

My family recently stayed at Hijau Camp & Cabin for a few days, and it was truly the highlight of our holiday in Malaysia. The camp’s location is perfect for escaping the hustle and bustle of city life and immersing yourself in nature.It’s an ideal destination for families. We enjoyed private access to swim in Sungai Geruntom, as well as our own swimming pool at the cabin. Being surrounded by beautiful butterflies made the experience feel almost magical—like something out of a movie or TV show. It’s certainly a memory our family will treasure.What really stood out was the thoughtfulness of the owner and management. Even the small details were carefully considered—for example, the personalized shampoo and body wash provided included natural anti-mosquito ingredients like lemongrass, which was both practical and a lovely touch in a jungle setting.During our stay, we went water rafting (RM150 per person) and even arranged for a personal masseuse to come to the cabin, which added an extra level of relaxation. The food provided was delicious, and there was Wi-Fi available at the dining hall. There was plenty of open space for the kids to run around and have fun.The lighting and views from our cabin were stunning. The jungle photos simply don’t do the place justice. We truly felt at one with the jungle.
